GGrippo a.k.a. Gabriel Grippo
American, born Argentina 1962.
GGrippo is an Argentine-born New York-based creative activist.
Educated in the fine arts and architecture in Argentina and trained in the design industry in the US he works in fashion, interior design and installation art.
GGrippo lives and works in Brooklyn, where he runs GGrippo art+design, a concept space dedicated to show and sell the work of emerging and established creators. His unique business model brings art and design to clients and customers from all areas of creative endeavor.
His work was been exhibited in galleries and museums in the US, Europe and South America, including Eyebeam Atelier, White Columns, Roebling Hall, BAC (Brooklyn Arts Council), Burodijkstra Art Gallery, MALBA (Museum of Latinamerican Art of Buenos Aires), Dabbah-Torrejon Arte Contemporaneo, CayC (Centro de Arte y Comunicacion) and Museumsquartier in Vienna. He has been featured in respected publications including the New York Times, Surface, ID Magazine, Nylon, Paper, Vogue, Elle Decor and Frame.
GGrippo is working on the architectural design of the G-M house and new NYDesignroom gallery space, in 174 Grand Street an event on contemporary design from Argentina and a new photographic book project.
